Mako Swim is a private swim instruction business dedicated to building confident, capable swimmers through safe, personalized lessons. We specialize in toddler and child swim instruction, with a strong focus on water safety, foundational skills, and confidence in the water.

Our approach prioritizes creating a calm, supportive environment where swimmers can learn at their own pace, while developing skills that promote safety and independence.

Mako Swim was founded by a mom who understands how important water safety is at a young age. After teaching her own daughter to swim before the age of two, she created Mako Swim to help other families feel safe, supported, and confident in the water.

Every lesson is rooted in patience, trust, and the belief that early, positive experiences—paired with intentional skill development— can shape a child’s lifelong relationship with the water.
